Smart Parking Ltd dispute.

Hi
Can't find an answer in the stickies. Partner went for a meal in a Holt's pub with her friends on 06/07/22. On 04/08/22 we received a PCN from Smart Parking. Appealed saying couldn't see any signage and bar staff did not mention any parking restrictions. The parking is for patrons only. We sent a copy of the meal receipt but this was dismissed. Am I correct that the PCN was sent outside of the 14 day limit and is unenforceable? The signage has since been changed with more signs and larger lettering.
Thanks in advance. James.

Yes - but only if the appellant (recipient of the PCN) protected that argument by appealing as registered keeper.  Who got the PCN. You or your partner?

No - if the appellant was your partner and she threw out that 100% winning argument and blew her toes off, by implying in the appeal that she was driving, or ticking 'driver'.  Rookie error.

This is explained in 'NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST', which also says what PLAN A is. PLAN A to get it cancelled, is not 'appeal'.

    Scotland, or not?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
