New Ebay account

I have just opened a new account for selling stuff for my club, it's so different to my normal one I'm struggling to find my way around it....

If it's advice you're after, hopefully @soolin will be along soon to help. What they don't know about eBay just isn't worth knowing.

I'm sure that once you get into the swing, you'll be fine.

Here's some info to begin with, hope it's helpful -  https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling

I have a private account that is on the ‘new’ system, took me a couple of weeks to even find all the bits I usually  like, I found it cumbersome and unwieldy as each section has to be opened via the edit button and I can’t set things like ‘immediate payment required’ as default so it takes a while longer to list.

Even now several months later I’m not quite as fast at using it for listing as I am on the old listing tool and can’t see why eBay have been it so difficult.

I'm sure I'm preaching to the converted but make absolutely sure you're familiar with eBay's T&C's as it's too late to find out something isn't the same as it used to be when someone starts a dispute with you.

The T and Cs are the same regardless of what listing tool or seller hub you have been allocated . The difficulty is just things like finding out where the ‘block overseas countries’ bit is or in my case where the ‘immediate payment required’ tick box is as the latter one is 2 full clicks away from the main screen.

Thanks soolin, if you were struggling no wonder I am lol

I know things have to change but you would think they would make it easier to use not more cumbersome, it's the same with my new iPad, just so very frustrating............

Often it's because someone somewhere designed a system that's easy for 'them' to navigate orcthat the assumption is for all sellers to have the same wants and needs.
I like the mobile app for ebay but hate the 'new' desktop app (I'm a private seller). I don't care about the complex metrics of my selling performances, I am merely there to dispose of unwanted items.
I only need to know if I have any marks against my account where I need to up my game (don'tbelieve I have any).
May you find your sister soon Helli.
    Sleep well.

I prefer to work on a desk top, so I did the listing and 'kept it for later' then went to eBay on my iPad and uploaded the pics from there, it was easy enough to do that rather than get the pics onto my desk top. I am very easily confused.....Although on one listing I forgot to uncheck the 'accept an offer' bit and I got an offer lol
