    I have never seen an E7 tariff with such a big discounted night rate before, usually its 10-20% max.  Try to keep it if you can.

    Why not simply leave the account in your name but change the bank details behind the DD

    Then they would be legally liable for future payments on the account.  It's the account holder's name that matters for that, not the DD account number.

    The OP has said that they don't mind taking that risk, but it needs to be recognised as a risk anyway.
