Energy price freeze for those who's suppliers not subject to cap...

Has anyone heard any suggestions what might happen to domestic customers with a green supplier not subject to a price cap when it comes to a possible price freeze? Companies like Ecotricity or Good Energy as examples. Will these customers benefit from any freeze too if their suppliers aren't normally capped? Difficult to see these companies retaining customers otherwise.
