Hive dimmable bulb

They use marginally less, but it not worth worrying about, probably 5-7 watts at full power, maybe 4-6 dimmed.
Out of interest why leaving them on 24 hours a day?1 -
This bulbs are connected to a hub and switched on and off and dimmed by using an application.
Problem here is more that the bulbs will use electricity all the time, even when switched off to maintain connection to the hub.

They do, but at least my Hue bulbs seem to use so little power the IHG only registers seven of them plus the hub as 2w draw when they are all off.pochase said:This bulbs are connected to a hub and switched on and off and dimmed by using an application.

According to my Tapo p110 my hive hub uses 1.9watt when on and my hive bulb uses 9.7 watts when on 100%, 8.3 watts at 90%, 6.5 watts at 80%, 5.2 watts at 70% 4.5 watts at 60%, 3.5 watts at 50%, down to 0.9 watts at 5% and 0.4 watt when off.
So if it is left on 24 hours a day at 5% you will use, including the hub, just over 24 kWh in a year.

Yep, that is exactly what the article says for Hue, but other brands seem to use more.MattMattMattUK said:
