I have been paying into a private pension for the last14 years and still am. I now also have a work pension I pay into should I stop the private pension and consolidate it in to my work pension and increase my work pension contributions

That depends on several things........your workplace pension, it's costs, it's benefits....does it support salary sacrifice as a contribution method, will your company increase it's contribution if you do, what investments do you have to choose from...etc.Your private pension and it's costs/features will also be a factor.Without this info, nobody can really offer you much of an answer tbh......0
