Dimming a 3 way circuit

Got a ceiling dimmable led light that I would like to be able to dim!
It is operated via 3 different light switches. Can one of the light switches just be swapped out for a dimmer switch? Has anyone done this already and it worked without any gremlins? Tia

TiaYou can only swap one, and it mustn't be the intermediate switch. It does cause the problem that if the lamp has been dimmed very low at one switch and then turned off, operating either of the other two switches can then give the impression that the lamp has failed (or the power has gone off). You need to remember to turn the dimmer back up.1 -
One dimmable lamp switched by three on/off switches - The obvious solution would be a smart bulb and an app on your phone. With a little bit more money, smart switches and a bit of home automation would also work.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

The light has integrated led so smart not an option.FreeBear said:One dimmable lamp switched by three on/off switches - The obvious solution would be a smart bulb and an app on your phone. With a little bit more money, smart switches and a bit of home automation would also work.0 -

The smart dimmer looks a bit complicated for my needs. I'm hoping a £10 led dimmer from SF will suffice !!FreeBear said:Upzeecreek said:
