150,000 kWh is suggesting Current Transformer metering as may well have been for a builders yard
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
MWT said:I still think the problem is the classification as a business account, the Ofgem advice is what you should rely upon to get your account reclassified as residential, and once residential you should get access to the capped tariff.I do still wonder if the nature of your metering is getting in the way, do you have any photos of the actual meter that you can post? (blank out MPAN etc.)0

Secure Premier are CT/VT driven half-hourly meters for commercial and light industrial uses.

Is the waiver you’ve signed got to do with VAT and CCL. Have you been paying 5% VAT? It sounds like your supply is classified as commercial due to the type of meter you have. I wouldn’t be surprised if your profile class was 0. Even if you get on the capped rate then your annual charges will be around £75k 😳 (or not depending what’s announced tomorrow). You can get CT meters that are suitable for domestic properties so it might be worth you speaking with EDF to see if a different meter would be more suitable.0
