HTB Bank

I have done a search but can't find anything so apologies it this has been posted before but I'm looking for some advice.

I have 50k to invest from a house sale and I am looking to put it into an account that ties it up to get the best interest rate. I don't want to tie it up for any longer than a year at the moment with the interest rates possible going up again.

I have been looking at HTB bank but know nothing about them. Has anyone had any experience with them and would you recommend? I notice they have to have a nominated account, is that just for security purposes?

TIA

HTB are fine to deal with. Whether they have the best rates atm, I don't know. https://moneyfacts.co.uk/savings-accounts/

Nominated accounts are used by many savings providers. It assists them in verifying your ID, and it gives you the certainty that your money can only been withdrawn to your own account.
