Any sudoko apps?

I am looking for a sudoko or similar app I can download to my Kindle fire and play without internet access.

Search Amazon app store.  Plenty there.

Yes I tried a couple but they only work properly when I am connected to the internet.  No good when out in the sticks.  
Is there one that works on its own?

I have no idea if they work offline, but the boys from Cracking the Cryptic have a series of excellent Sudoko games on the Steam store.
