Has Europe filling their gas storage made a bigger impact on prices than Russia cutting off supply?
Looking at Octopus tracker agile for the first time since I signed up below 35p on a weekday, and gas went below April cap levels for a few days, and now with Russia supply off completely still below its own 11p cap where it was pegged whilst Europe was filling their gas reserves.

The price drop over the last few days might just be because it's been windy in the North Sea and all the wind turbines are spinning like crazy. This would mean there are times of day when supply is high in relation to demand, leading to a price fall.

Yes, I know, hardly got a mention on forum, was huge contributory factor gas wholesale plummeting as the article says, had gas wholesale price not plummeted would be a lot higher now --obvious ...chris_n said:0 -
Brave of Putin to store gas when the locations of the storage will be easy to find should Ukraine decide to blow it all up0
