Childcare vouchers

Afternoon,
Probably a very easy question, but can't see to find a direct answer online.
OH is pregnant, can I only start taking part in the child care voucher scheme (£8/£2) when little one is born?

You cannot use the childcare voucher scheme any longer unless you are already in the scheme.
You need to look at Tax Free Childcare https://www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare
Your child must be 11 or under and usually live with you
Both you and OH need to be working and meet the earnings limits to claim.
You can apply after the birth when OH is recommencing work within 31 days.
