Promotional auction list ended but now get an offer message

Promotional ("80% off final value fees") auction listing ended but now received an offer via a message.  I understand that I am liable to fees if I conduct a sale as eBay introduced the item and effectively the person who has offered.  My question is would the "80% off final value fees" still be honoured by eBay despite the fact that the listing ended as I have not relisted the item?

The auction has finished so the 80% off final fees will not apply.  You can relist the item next time the offer comes.
I have had the same this morning.  Auction finished last night and I got an offer this morning.  I have just messaged him saying "keep a watch out as I will be relisting the item soon" - of course I will only relist it when there is an offer.

If your item has finished then to sell it to the interested party you would have to relist it and won’t get the FVF offer unless you wait for the next one.

Don’t risk selling it ‘off eBay’ if buyer messaged you via eBay as that is against the rules and will see you with a warning or even a suspension.
