Monthly direct debit increase help

Could you let us know your usage in kwh over the last twelve months, and the unit rates on your tariff, please? Some helpful person here will then be able to give you a sense of where the direct debit should be.
You could also plug your details into the MSE calculator at https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/what-are-the-price-cap-unit-rates-/
then divide the total by 120 -
What tariff are you on ?
Standing charges on the current cap amount to nearly £24 a month alone !
Are you using both gas and electricity ?
What is you annual usage in kWh ?

I'm only using between £30 and £40 a month for electricity and nothing for gas. How do I see my annual usage total ?1 -
1269.0 for total this year says for this year. I've not been with them for full year yet I don't think.

£255 Jan to Sep no clue why they think I need to pay that high amount if Im using £30 to £40 a month consistently 🥴0

have a look at your meter reading now and find a meter reading from approx 12 months ago, that'll tell you how much you use a year. times that by the per KWh rate and then add 365 x 24.45p fort he daily charge.
What does your last bill/statement say - is it in debit or credit and are actual meter reads being used?0 -
Is that a fixed tariff and if so when does it end ?0
-
From the rate it is a fixed tariff, when will the tariff end?
What are you using for heating?0 -
I'm pretty sure it's fixed for 12 months on contract ?0
