Hastings Car Insurance Renewal

I have been trying to renew my car insurance with Hastings. Very trying! I phoned them to get a cheaper renewal quote and spoke to someone I could barely understand, but eventually accepted a lower price, but I can't renew it because they haven't put my renewal on the app! Also, there is no way to contact them other than phone, so all I could do was contact their complaints dept and send a complaint in but I don't expect too much. If I don't hear, I will cancel my renewal and get insurance elsewhere.

If you've accepted the lower price over the phone it's likely that the person you spoke to has renewed it for you so you don't need to do anything.

However, the updated documents should be available to view in the app.

With respect, that is the problem. The quote was accepted by me and I have the certificate. Problem is the renewal is not on my app so I can't pay for it.

Do they have your payment details on file from last year? If so, they'll probably take the money that way. But definitely follow it up to make sure that you're properly insured.

I've given up with them. I tried three times to contact them yesterday and got cut off each time after waiting for them to answer, so I decided to cancel my renewal and go elsewhere. And it was cheaper!
