Morning all, thanks nmlcRained quite hard in the night, still a bit on & off.Gers what a great photo!Safe journey Snoozer, hope all goes well.I havent caught up with yesterdays news yet.We were busy tidying the bedroom and transferring stuff into the new wardrobe/ cupboard on the landing. It fits into an alcove but is much more space efficient than the old antique wardrobe. The plan is also to put some built in ones in the bedroom so we'll have 2 Laura Ashle y wardrobes to sell on then, and much more storage, yay. Then in the afternoon we called at DS2's as the DGC were there. DS took the opportunity to nip to Al di & DS1 & DH took the car to be left to have new tyres on, ouch!I was going to call at the market to see my veg man, I don't think I need enough for a box to be delivered this week.Take care all x

Morning everyone
It's been raining again overnight and is forecast for sunshine and showers for the rest of the day - yesterday it was lovely from mid morning onwards.
Little nephew loved my new kitten - he was a bit nervous of her little claws at first so I showed him how little one cuddles her wrapped in a blanket. He was soon rolling round the floor with her!
He had a lovely afternoon playing with the kitchen and pretending it was a cafe with all little ones dolls lined up as customers. Then he found the doctors set so we took turns bandaging each other up! All toys he hasn't got at home - he really enjoyed it. We had just gone out into the sunshine when my niece came back so we sat for a bit while he played in the sand pit.
Today I'm planning a lazy day. Trixie has her first visit to the vet this afternoon - it could be fun trying to get her into the cat box. DD will pick me up then I expect little one will come back for tea.
Gers - brilliant photo - I'm loving your posts from Australia
Snoozer - enjoy your baby cuddles
Izzy - hope progress has been made when you get home
TA - enjoy your stay at your summer residence
Black and gold - enjoy your day with your grandson
Redruby - enjoy your crafty morning and I hope your appointment later is ok
Coxy - enjoy the cinema later
Camelot - hope you get an apology.... a few years ago I was bitten by a child at nursery- his mum came in the next day and explained he'd told her he didn't bite me - he had his mouth open and my arm was too close and his mouth slid down it!
Well I better move myself...hope everyone has a good day today x

Hello all, this is the first chance I've had to get on here. We've only got the DGD here today as everyone else has gone back to school and she doesn't start till tomorrow. We had a girlie night last night " glamping" in the spare bedroom 😂 This morning we have been to a craft shop for a few things, now she is crafting merrily away and chatting non stop !
Later I shall put the folding bed away and sort the bedding out. The single duvet will have to go in a black bag until I can find a replacement bag as the old one disintegrated, then I can move the holiday stuff into the spare bedroom and start the packing.
Tomorrow morning we are taking Dad (and his scooter) to Trago mills, supposedly just for carpet tiles but he's already expecting lunch there too so it may turn out to be an all day outing 😂
Happy holidays to those away or going away. Enjoy your day with the DGC Snoozer and Blackandgold.
RedRuby hope the appointment tonight goes well.
Camelot hope the day goes without incident.
Gers must be lovely to wake up to that scene.
Sorry I have forgotten everything else, my new meds don't seem to be helping my brain remember things, but at least the sickness feeling has stopped.
Take care all
