Wax on veneered oak doors, have you?

Because I treat some identical (but obviously bought a long time ago) doors with wax, and they were fine, and from the research I have done, no one has had a de-lamination issue after using wax. I went with the osmo oil because some sellers state 'no wax or oil...except osmo oil', and it does have a good reputation.MalMonroe said:Call me daft (I don't mind, many do) and what I know about diy can be written on the back of a postage stamp but if the instructions say "these doors are not suitable for treatment with any type of wax or polish" - why would you then go ahead and treat them with wax?“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

If they are (presumably expensive) internal doors seems odd if you cannot use one of the many furniture polish sprays that contain beeswax.Play with the expectation of winning not the fear of failure. S.Clarke0
