Group Nexus: Deepdale Preston

Hi All
Back again unfortunately after one successful court case.
This time Nexus Group in Deepdale Preston.
I am not actually the driver this time but the keeper, wondering how best to defend. I’m at first stage but am expecting to go all the way as before
1. registered keeper defence — the notice arrived 16 days after alleged offence and after the postal strike — could I relay on Gibbon vs Chief Constable Hummerside 2009?? And therefore they can’t rely on the POFA

2 The driver is actually a new mother (and not based in UK) — they have parked the car over the lines on one side as the mother/child bays were full and needed to get the pram out of the car — the pictures show the car over the lines but also show two cars either side so it has not blocked either of the other bays — not sure if she could rely on equality act but signage really poor for T&Cs and infringement is minor and not caused any issues to cars either side.
I am also wondering wether they would get anywhere pursing her outside of the Uk (Australia based) and I should just name her. If not and they pursue me as keeper can I also submit a driver defence on signage etc later?
