STATE PENSION

 Help what do I do I have paid my national insurance self-employed 21/22 I retire December this year but it is not showing on my pension for cast

    when did you pay. How did you pay. Things like this are taking many weeks at the moment to show in your records

    If you mean Class 2 NI as part of your Self Assessment liability it may be nothing happens until after 31 January 2023 as it doesn't need to be paid until then.
  • For the 2018 / 2019 financial year, we paid Class 2 Contributions into the good ladies NI account via her self assessment return in May 2019. Her state pension started in July 2019 at a sum just under the new state pension. The payment was credited into her NI account late December 2019,  in early in 2020 say late January, she received a letter from the DWP advising her of the new weekly state pension amount she would receive and what was owed from the July, in early February she received her backdated payment and the new weekly amount which equated to the full new state pension in her February state pension payment.

    For the 2018 / 2019 financial year, we paid Class 2 Contributions into the good ladies NI account via her self assessment return in May 2019. Her state pension started in July 2019 at a sum just under the new state pension. The payment was credited into her NI account late December 2019,  in early in 2020 say late January, she received a letter from the DWP advising her of the new weekly state pension amount she would receive and what was owed from the July, in early February she received her backdated payment and the new weekly amount which equated to the full new state pension in her February state pension payment.

    thanks my pension date is 23nd December my amount they say am getting is not including 21/22  national insurance tax year i have paid this throw self-assessments does this mean I will get the rate quoted to the payment registers then they will pay me back what I am owed will it be a lump sum or an monthly increase

    Both.  A lump sum for the period from when your pension starts till the amount is updated.

    And an increased award each week/4 weeks thereafter.
