If you mean Class 2 NI as part of your Self Assessment liability it may be nothing happens until after 31 January 2023 as it doesn't need to be paid until then.patsy43 said:Help what do I do I have paid my national insurance self-employed 21/22 I retire December this year but it is not showing on my pension for cast

For the 2018 / 2019 financial year, we paid Class 2 Contributions into the good ladies NI account via her self assessment return in May 2019. Her state pension started in July 2019 at a sum just under the new state pension. The payment was credited into her NI account late December 2019, in early in 2020 say late January, she received a letter from the DWP advising her of the new weekly state pension amount she would receive and what was owed from the July, in early February she received her backdated payment and the new weekly amount which equated to the full new state pension in her February state pension payment.

Both. A lump sum for the period from when your pension starts till the amount is updated.patsy43 said:drumtochty said:For the 2018 / 2019 financial year, we paid Class 2 Contributions into the good ladies NI account via her self assessment return in May 2019.
