DCB Legal Letter of Claim

Hi,
I today received a Letter of Claim from DCB legal for a supposed PCN, of which I knew nothing about.
The PCN issue date was 25/12/21, I then moved house on 8 Jan 2022 (updating my V5 on the same day). I suspect that they issued a PCN using my old address and I haven't had any of the letters.
What would you recommend I do?
I need to send a SAR but dont have any of the details of the issuer.

Hello and welcome.
Doesn't your Letter of Claim tell you who the parking company is?
Good guidance on how react upon receipt of a Letter of Claim can be found in the first few paragraphs of the second post of the NEWBIES thread.
You also need to write to the Data Protection Officer of the parking company telling them your new address and instructing them to inform all their agents.1 -
Thank you!
No all it says is the Issue Date, Location and Reason. Not the company who issued the PCN.
How would i go about finding this information?0 -
Not 'our client' and a name? Surely?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Nothing will happen yet because CEL file their own useless claims. Not DCBLegal. Not that it matters; both are seen to be useless at court.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have sent a SAR request and sent an email to DCB Legal as directed in step 20

When I see these DCBL letters, I chuckle
So outdated using the logo "can't pay" ...... with reference to the rubbish TV program. A very pathetic method to scare people.
And they still think they have the legal authority to add fake debt collector fees of £70 ??
Still waiting for their explanation which will never come because they rely ON the BPA CoP which is simply a scam approved by the BPA with no legal authoruty
How pathetic is that ?1 -
Makes me laugh that that letter is mean to be serious and professional and then they slap that banner on at the bottom and just lose all creditability.
Its a weekday, mid morning show that belongs along side Jeremy Kyle1
