My dog Lottie had to have spinal surgery last year. Animal Friends refused to pay hospital bill. This left us in debt £5800 . We had to take a loan out to pay bill. 
Reading through MSE site one afternoon I read about Resolver financial ombudsman. I put a claim in and I have received email to say that Animal Friends have to pay my claim. 
Big thank you to the site . 
I wanted to post so that others can see that by complaining about these big companies it does work.

    You could have referred the case to the Ombudsman yourself.

    No need to go through a third party who only passes on what you have told them.
