I work full time and leave early in the morning so I do the pre-peg routine!  Do the washing in the evening, bring the basket into the lounge and put pegs on whilst watching TV.  I have a rotary line so stack the washing in the basket in the order I'm going to hang it out: larger items at the bottom and socks etc on the top which will be hung towards the inside of the line.  Get up in the morning, grab the basket and go.  I find this cuts down my hanging out time when I'm in a rush!

Hang on… you put the pegs on the clothes in the basket before you hang them out?  Does that really save time?
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
  • Peg bag on a hook you slide along the line as you go is the best I've found to save time.pick out pegs as you put things out and drop them in as you take in the dry stuff
