Do you have power to the boiler (test by switching the CH on briefly). If not, switch the water heater switch back on at the CU.
Do you know which circuit the boiler is wired to? Which room is it in?
I've also noticed that your boiler pressure is at near-zero-it should be around 0.5 bar when idle.
Edit: looking at the first pic again, the LED display is blank, So there is no power to the boiler, I guess because it's been wired to the same circuit as the immersion.

^ That could be stopping the boiler from firing.

  • Central heating works - boiler came on. With the CU switch off. I’ll give it a little while so the hot water cools a little to see if it turns on in a bit then. 👍 thanks so much for your time. Assuming this works would you recommend have the water on constant to ensure a temp and no bacteria growth/legionella in the tank then or is it ok to heat once or twice a day?
  • This is what it looks like when the boiler is on with central heating. The boiler is in the kitchen. Could the pressure be because it is not been on since April?

Yes, very likely. You may have a small leak somewhere, too small to be visible. Just top it back up to 0.5 bar.
Twice a day is perfectly adequate, early morning and mid evening to suit.
Any lost heat serves to heat the house anyway, in winter.
Anyway, we've established that your immersion is on a dedicated circuit, nothing to do with the boiler.

  • Another naive question. How do I get the pressure up. I did know and completely forgotten.
  • S’ok sorted the pressure 👍
So I used the controls to turn the hot water on. It appears to have come on to heat the water, then paused. Flashing 79 and a stable red light. Does that mean it has reached temp? The timer is now off, so is the boiler. Thanks so much everyone. I can’t believe I did not get advice about all this from my gas maintenance when I asked. I will use a different company next.
