It always is far more complicated and a proper analysis would fill several books. But for clarity, I don't think the decision to privatise our energy systems was the root cause. I think it was the way they were privatised, and the energy strategies (or lack of) adopted by successive governments since.Section62 said:

No, you should look at E.ON UK profits which is our energy supplier.
