    Get a cheap plug-in corded phone. It will draw power from the BT line until you get forced to use VOIP. Even then, the power consumption will be minimal.
    And to save even more money, get rid of the mobile.

    Funny you should bring this up, I was round my mother's house yesterday and she has 2 sets of 2 plugged in around the house. None of the phones that come with them are docked either.
    I'd say to her about this but, she to set in her ways to change
