Why are park homes such a major feature on RightMove. Why can’t they give you a option to filter out such homes when perusing newbuilds.

Look under 'Property Type' and select the ones you are interested in.

There are two problems: one is that the Rightmove search functionality is basic and very poor, and the other is that Estate Agents are idiots who are unable to correctly categorise properties (hence the large proportion of non-bungalow properties that come up in a search for bungalows).

It's a generous opinion but I don't really see how showing people searching for a bungalow a house or apartment does anything but give those people a negative view of the EA.

I can understand the flats. Logic is that you are after living on 1 level so both bungalow and flat provide this.Or that some bungalows have bedrooms upstairs so include houses in your searches.(I didn't say the logic was good).May you find your sister soon Helli.
