UPVC Door Swelled in the Heat but Not Shrunk Back

Help!
In all that hot weather back in July, our back conservatory door swelled and even though it would close it wouldn't lock. You can see that the swelling was around the handle area as there's a gap there and its flush at the top and bottom of the door.
We've waited and waited but the door will still not lock.
I even resorted to sticking paper on the frame and put lipstick on the locks to see where they lined up and the lock touches right on the outside of the frame.
Any suggestions please, or do I need to call someone in to look at it?

It may be that the hinges need adjusting. If you are not sure how to do that, give a window doctor a call. Or if the door is a fairly recent addition, try the company that fitted it.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

As freebear says, check the hinges. Also, it’s still warm in the conservatory during the day so that may be affecting it as well.
For the adjustment, you need an alum key - Wilkinson’s do a set quite cheaply and it’s very straight forward. Just search on YouTube for a video guide.2006 LBM £28,000+ in debt.
