EDF fixed query

Yes, but her fix was from April 21 to April 23 and they randomly tried to increase  the DD in Feb 22. This was right in the middle of her fix, still using the same amount of gas and elec and in credit. It was just pure greed from EDF. Even EDF couldn't explain the increase because it wasn't based on any facts.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that has experienced this. 

I’ve got to look over my exact usage to make sure (which I’m sure it wouldn’t have) changed since previous years, before phoning them to request my DD be lowered to what it has been since fixing in March 2021.

It almost certainly will have changed; last winter (the winter of 2021-22) was unusually mild and several MSErs have noted that their energy use for heating was down by 20% or more.

The coming winter is likely to be more typical (although, considering the circumstances, we can hope it stays mild).
