My Hive receiver has status light out but it still works?
We have two thermostats and two receivers, one had status indicator on, the other has status indicator off?
YT videos suggest the status light indicates whether it's paired but both work fine?

If you turn the power off to the receiver, and then back on, what does the defunct status light do? Anything? Flash? Go amber? Or, nothing - it doesn't light up at all?
It's possible it's simply 'blown'. If the 'stat still controls the CH, then clearly the receiver is 'working'.
Is the separate - lower - CH status - light working as it should?
Hang on - which light are we talking about?!0 -
Yeah the central heating light works fine just the status light is off0

If it's the lower CH status light that isn't working, but the actual unit itself clearly does, then you have a faulty LED, that's all.Bide yer time on t'Bay/F'Book Marketplace and you should pick up a replacement SLR1 for around £20-odd. No rewiring needed - they are held with a couple of wee screws, and lift off (with the power turned offski).0
