We have an older solar system from 2010, 25 year contract,  so on the maximum FITS payments.
OVO Energy have taken over the contract from SSE and stating on their site - 20 years. I’ve emailed them but not got a response yet - has anyone else on here picked up on this

What is your specific problem with the new arrangement under OVO?

In theory it will just carry on as it was, under a new name.  In practice, my last 2 payments did not get made.  An email resulted in no response.  I tried phoning, but that never got answered. Until one time I tried before 9AM and got a message saying the lines are closed until 9AM, so I phoned on the dot of 9AM and it then still took half an hour to speak to someone.

They claimed they had not received the last 2 readings, submitted in the new on line meter reading service they had previously sent me a link to. So by email (operatives personal email) I sent an up to date reading and got paid up to date.

I fully expect to have the same problem when the next reading is due, unless by chance they have fixed their new meter reading portal.

It's an error on their website. They should correct it, but it's not important.

It's an error on their website. They should correct it, but it's not important.
Hopefully so - it’s certainly important as it’s 5 years of FITS payments. 😀

Thanks for input ProDave - I only got notice a couple of days ago to give meter reading - sent it in and got email back to say they’ve got it, so fingers crossed.
After the performance I had when we first got the panels installed, I don’t trust anything at first sight and need to makes things are clear.
I was the person who found my Electric meter was adding the KWh on to my meter and it took almost a year to get it sorted.

The point I was failing to make is that OVO can write whatever they like on their website, but that doesn't make it true.
OVO don't control how long your FIT runs for, that's down to Ofgem.
