signed but unexecuted TR1 Form
In 2010 I brought my ex-partner out of a Buy-to-let flat that we had owed originally. A TR1 form was completed and signed by all parties. Due to conditions with the mortgage (being no changes were allowed unless paying off or re-mortgaging the property) at the time my solicitor held the signed TR1 form but was never sent to The Land Registry. In 2020 my solicitor retired and returned the signed TR1 Form to me. I am now in the position to pay the mortgage off in full, but the land registry has refused to accept my signed TR1 form. I have tried every avenue to resolve this issue, but my ex-partner is difficult and not engaging and can’t even remember the solicitor who acted on his behalf. I have sent and arranged several times for him to complete a new TR1 and ID1 form, but he fails to action. I have been to a few solicitors thinking there must be a way of tracking when transaction took place and monies, I paid but no one seems interested. I seem to be going around in circles. Any ideas?

Why have they refused it? Presumably because it was dated 2010?No free lunch, and no free laptop

No, undated . Bad break-up.0

So you dated it at the time of submission? That doesn't tell us why they rejected it.
Possibly the form has altered in 12 years and no longer valid? No free lunch, and no free laptop
