Selling on Ebay - starting again

Hi, I used to sell on eBay as a private seller before they changed the payment system, I haven't sold anything since then (coincidence not because of the changes) but still buy regularly on there.  I'm thinking of selling some stuff in the next couple of weeks that I am clearing out and wondered if anyone had any tips or advice with the new systems in place, my account is 100% positive and I have a bank account linked for payments and the debit card to that account registered on eBay too, I have selected daily payouts, is there anything else anyone would suggest? any comments or advice is welcome.

I would wait for the FVF promotions before listing, it works out much more economically when the lower value items sell.
  • Ebay charges total around 14%.  Therefore I add 14% to the Ebay asking price. This means my items rarely sell on Ebay but the item is often  snapped up on Gumtree and other sites because there are no charges and its at a 14% discount to Ebay.
