Cannot verify my bank with eBay?

Just changed bank accounts and when entered my new bank account in eBay I was asked to log in to my previous bank account to verify my new one which I cannot do as I’ve changed banks so how can I verify with my previous bank if I'm no longer with them. There was no option to verify with bank statement either. I will contact eBay but wondered if anyone that got this problem sorted how did you get your bank verified.

I am not an expert but it sounds like you are veifying your bank account using open banking
you don't have to do it that way you can just enter the sort code and account number of your new bank and they will send you two very small transfers and when they arrive you enter the amount of the transfers and this will verify your account
