Spreadsheet download on a Sainsburys Credit Card?

Thinking of switching from a John Lewis Credit Card to Sainsburys card (Nectar). Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain a CSV file download of the transactions?

I haven't had a statement yet as I've only had the card for a few weeks but there's nothing to suggest a csv download is possible.

If you're looking at earning Nectar I would advise looking at either the Barclaycard Nectar or Amex Nectar instead.

In both cases you'll earn more than Sainsbury's themselves will give you for shopping at Sainsbury's from November (1.6 points and 2 points respectively, vs 1 point from Sainsbury's Bank), and significantly more absolutely everywhere else (same 1.6/2points vs less than 0.2 points via Sainsbury's Bank).

Both offer exports in a range of formats via online banking too.
  • If you have the free version of Adobe installed, you can convert it PDF to Excel when you download it (if that help). I can throw a couple of columns out but that's easily edited in excel.
