Standing order from savings account

Is anyone aware of a savings account that will allow payment out by standing order? I need to make monthly payments for something and the amounts are large enough that I don't particularly want to leave the amount in my current account with no interest. The money is currently in my savings account. I've got a head like a sieve and would really like something I can automate as any failed DD charges or overdraft interest would soon dwarf any interest on the money

I have my money in a Virgin M Saver right now which does not allow this. I know the high interest current accounts would but I need something that will give interest on about £6k. Are there any of the current top (ish) paying accounts that would allow standing orders out? Ability to future schedule payments would be an acceptable alternative. Any ideas appreciated.

The Chase savings account allows SOs. Currently paying 1.50%
The Tesco Internet Saver allows future dated payments but you would need to set these up each month as they are not automated. Currently paying 1.71% but set to increase on the 13th September

You can schedule any number of payments to any number of payees for any future dates on the Al Rayan Everyday Saver account. It's currently market leading with 2.1%.

Bit of a PITA to have to set up the individual payments, but would be worth my while for 0.6% advantage over Chase.
  • Ford Money's Flexible Saver, currently 1.55%, lets you set up recurring weekly/monthly payments via their web interface (can't do it via the app as far as I can see). Transfers seem to be a little on the slow side though.

Virgin Money M Plus current account (2.02% on first £1k) could help others who were dealing with smaller amounts, but doesn't help when you're juggling £6k.
