EDF energy debt dispute
have been with EDF from April 21 to present and I have added up my bills:
From all the bills I have from the period from April 21 to 24 July 22 total amount is
The company is saying that I am in in debt for over £500 when the difference between the total amount I owed and the amount I have paid is only £13.81. This does not make sense to me and I have had my correspondence with the company but still they have not answered my basic maths question and just keep putting my monthly amount up due to the debt they say I owe them. I can only go on the bills they have given me and that is what they add up to so I am at a lost as to
£ 2756.81
My total amount paid to the company until date 5th August 22 is
£ 2743.00
Where the £500 plus debt is from. I do understand that there will also be a cost from 25 July to 5 August but that will not total over £500.

Have they said you are currently in debt by £500 or that you will be in debt at the end of direct debit review period?0
