Solar panels Not worth the money

If you have had panels fitted and feel that they were not worth the investment, please tell me how far the reality is from the original thought/prediction.

My panels blew off in last years thunderstorm before I could complete my "is it worth it?" analysis.

Well I thought my panels would be a reasonable investment when I put them in  years' ago. But now I'm realising I got it all wrong.  I should have spent double what I did. I could be exporting shed loads to the grid right now and I'd be a millionaire.

  • I didn't believe the salesman's unit prices  when he calculated how much I'd save. Turns out I was right!

They definitely do not work. Waste of money in our old house. After moving decided to waste a bit more money to get new panels.
I think the only use of solar panels is to act as a signal receiver from Aliens.  What if they talk to me 🤔🤔
