Best loft insulation deals

I want to top up my loft insulation, so looking for the best deals on either 170 or 200mm rolls of insulation. I'm not eligible for any grants. So far, the best I can find is Knauf Eko Roll 170mm at B&Q - £24 for 6.47m2. So, that is just over £3.70 per SQM. Anyone know of a better deal around than that?

That is probably as good a price you'll get locally. You might find a supplier online that can offer something at a lower price, but you'd get clobbered for shipping.

Alternatively, wait a few months and see if Wickes start doing a three-for-two deal (B&Q usually follow close behind with a similar deal).

I was looking recently. While there are some more attractive offers from certain trade suppliers, they usually add a hefty delivery charge which makes the B&Q price look pretty good. I'm sure that the trade prices were better a few months ago but the offers disappeared.

Homebase currently has 3 for 2 on a couple of roll sizes. Works out around £2.40 per m2.

Recently bought that Knauff insulation from B&Q, the 200mm rolls at £25 a pop. Best I could find. They do have a 10% off this weekend for clubcard members (free sign up). Probably worth taking advantage of to get a bit more knocked off. Think B&Q do free delivery over about £350 odd.

Though do note, when I ordered a bunch to be delivered, they ended up cutting down my order prior to delivery, dunno if I order too many or if they were just short of stock.

The HomeBase stuff claims to be a longer roll than the ones B&Q are selling. Worth checking.

If they were both the same length, B&Q would be cheaper at £22.50 per roll (100mm 7.28m).
