I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any way of being able to change sky channels in another room say upstairs when the digibox is downstairs. I have tried a magic eye and it doesn't work as I think their is a signal splitter, a signal booster as I have sky sent to three other rooms besides the main one, these intefere with it don't they? I do have a spare digibox that works is there any way that can be used?

I had the whole house done by an aerial guy - I get Sky in all the rooms with a choice of which of the multiroom boxes I want to watch and there is a little magic eye on each one which lets me change channels - on either box!
He wasn't expensive, just a little local guy and he was so helpful - he even fitted our cat flap!!!The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0 -
You are correct, the signal splitter blocks the DC feed to the magic eye.
The solution is to replace it either with a DC pass through, or a TV-Link compatable booster.
You can find them all on the TV link website.
