It will drop off automatically. But it doesn't drop off credit files on the exact date at the end of the DRO. I had a DRO which ended in 2019 and when I checked my credit reports from the three main CRAs (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion), it was still on all three at the end of the six years. When the credit files are updated though, the notification will definitely be removed.
Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. The live data held by the CRAs (the one you'd get on the statutory report) it will disappear from immediately (in theory), the free ones take time to update so might show you it there for a couple of weeks
