Dividend reporting on Trustnet

Could be that I am very naive, forgetful or dim (possibly all three) but I am confused.
I invest with Hargreaves Lansdown but I use Trustnet to keep track of my Stocks & Shares ISAs.
If I receive income from HL on a particular investment, I can got to TN, see the dividend per unit and do a calculation to check everything's in order.
Today I have noticed that there's a disparity between the two platforms plus, when I look at past dividends and compare them to what I have recorded in a spreadsheet, they are different too.
I've searched both platforms and Googled for clues but can't find anything relevant.
I hate a messy spreadsheet so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Mistakes can happen with either site, so perhaps the best route would be to seek the definitive information from the fund manager or company website - there could perhaps be variances arising from different classes, etc, although they'd be consistently different rather than occasionally diverging. Which specific dividends are you referring to, and what is the variance you're seeing between HL and Trustnet?0

Yes, I've noticed this recently with the OEICs I look up on there, too. I think there's a general problem as e.g., when I switch between different classes of the same fund the dividends remain the same when they shouldn't. The dividends on Fidelity's website have been removed completely - for months it had been showing very old data - so perhaps there's an even wider issue.EternallyGrateful said:Could be that I am very naive, forgetful or dim (possibly all three) but I am confused.

I don't look often, but when I do I've found enough errors and inconsistencies to convince me it isn't reliable.

Thanks
I've made mistakes before by getting the different classes mixed up - noting acc. divi. instead of inc. divi. for example. But in this case I'm looking at the right class but the numbers don't relate to the sum received from HL. Then, when I've checked my spreadsheet for last year those numbers are also different. That is the numbers I've taken off TN and recorded in my spreadsheet are different to the numbers currently on TN!
I also noticed that different classes of the same fund shared the same dividend rate - which is clearly incorrect.
They have recently 'updated' the website so I'm thinking that maybe there have been some errors made.
I think I have been able to rule out naive and forgetful but the jury's out on dim.

Every fund I have is showing up wrong wrt dividends.
One example is Jupiter Asian Income Class I Inc. The dividend actually paid is not what is recorded on TN.
Unfortunately I made some reinvestment decisions last week based on TN data too!

You'd be surprised e.g., try finding dividend data on the Invesco or Liontrust websites. Someone at Invesco told me that they don't supply dividend/interest data because it can change somewhat from the ex-dividend day and they have had problems in the past with angry customers after this had happened. Basically, you'll find out when it's paid. I pointed out that these data are supplied to the likes of Trustnet weeks in advance of payment but the answer was crickets...eskbanker said:Mistakes can happen with either site, so perhaps the best route would be to seek the definitive information from the fund manager or company website - there could perhaps be variances arising from different classes, etc, although they'd be consistently different rather than occasionally diverging. Thank youI found the same issues - I had to fall back to getting an approximation from Trustnet by dividing the dividend shown on Trustnet by the unit price of the first fund showed on the 'All Units' tab and then multiply by the price of whatever the actual unit class fund is. I might have been lucky, but the values weren't too different from those reported by the platforms I use.I don't know when this problem with trustnet started, but I did notice that the page layout had completely changed and so I'm hoping that this is something caused by those changes and so will get fixed.2
