Never heard of that but several of the regulars here would be great at that, if happy to volunteer.
I thought about applying to be a Magistrate but honestly don't love the court environment or the restrictive atmosphere and 'politics' where some Judges clearly dislike a lay rep. I know the above is a 'Mckenzie Friend' situation but I don't love the idea and think being a Magistrate must be stressful. Don't want that in my life either.
But I do enjoy the cut & thrust lively debate and policy-setting of the Govt Steering Group, which as you know is unpaid. So that's my volunteering job!
I am of an age where I can choose what I do with my time and only have myself to answer to, so it has to be something I'd enjoy (paid or not). Life is too short. I know you think the same and have jacked in jobs before now!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
