Wise - add money - now nearing 5th day and still not added

Usually, transfer money from my Halifax current account to Wise account using Halifax app and money is added to Wise account within seconds if not minutes. I've been doing this for years.
Last Friday 26 August, I created the 'add money' transaction within the Wise app, then transferred 160 GBP from Halifax current account smartphone App as I usually do.
On Wise app, I could see ' we're running some checks..' for this transaction. On Saturday 27 August the same message. On Monday 29 August I received an email from Wise saying 'Your transfer should now arrive on August 29.'.
Today Wednesday 31 August the money still hasn't been added. There is a message 'your money is taking longer to pay out' for that transaction.
side note: Semantics really, but it should really say '..to pay in'. Anyway, the money isn't available even after nearly 5 days.
I am aware there was a bank holiday this week (on Monday 29 August). Still, the maximum time frame for this kind of transfer is the next business day, which has long been surpassed.
Also, I anticipate there will be some posters saying 'it has been held back for checks'. Note that the more details for the transaction doesn't say 'running checks' anymore. So, clearly it has cleared that hurdle.
I've contacted Wise support and provided screenshots of the transaction 'more details' messages and a screenshot of the email I received. Waiting to hear back from them (it can take up to one working day to hear back).
There is an option within the Wise app to cancel the transaction. Has anyone selected that option? What happened when you selected that option?

So this is for a currency conversion within the app? Or a transfer elsewhere with conversion? Where is the holdup actually..?When you cancel a transaction during the process, it's cancelled.Evolution, not revolution0

I don't know if this happens anymore, but in the past, soon after adding money, the transaction within the app would start with 'adding' then change to 'added', but the balance momentarily still remains at 10 GBP. If we try to convert 160 GBP, app will say balance is below 160 GBP cannont do. Then if we wait a bit or close the app and open again, the balance would be updated and we can do the conversion. I think, this has been fixed now. So the 'activity' and 'balance' is updated together.
Anyway, this is all beside the point, the transaction details have changed from 'we're running some checks..' to 'your money is taking longer to pay out.' (which funnily enough is the message I've seen when I do a transfer out - I've never seen it for a 'add money' transaction), so it seems the money has arrived at Wise.
edit: the transaction details (when you tap the transaction it brings up 'updates' and 'details') says 'We received your GBP', so Wise has definitely received it. It says this on the 'Updates' Tab.0 -
What is your Halifax account showing ?
Did you select the Open Banking method within Wise to connect you back to Halifax ?
The only time this happened to me was when Santander were the "problem" bank and declined the request from Wise, it was a real pain having to call Santander to get the funds released.

Halifax banking app is showing a debit for £160 on Fri 26 August 2022 to Transferwise. I can see all the several previous payments made to Transferwise (now Wise) - so it wasn't as if I created a new payee.
Anyway, Wise app says 'We received your GBP'.0 -
Has the money left Halifax ?0

So....It'll be tough to reason that the money HASN'T left the halifax bank from the above.

You must have been editing and adding the extra info when I posted.
I have never heard of any issues with such a small sum before.
I have added my Wise GBP account details as a payee with Nationwide, Santander and Chase and I send the money without even opening either the Wise app or web account.
I get a push notification in the app and an email as soon as the funds arrive which is usually in seconds.0 -
