I think batteries and an I Boost are both hedges against the future of Octopus Agile. 

I didn't go for batteries because I have an EV and although it isn't capable of V2G, I decided that my future battery ownership was in that direction.

I have bought a solar diverter as I want to be able to reduce my gas consumption. But the price of Agile has led to me not hurrying to connect and use it.

Edit to add: any company that gives me 3 days to decide on spending £thousands will automatically lose my business.
