Wood fired hot tub?

Does anyone own one?
How satisfied are you?
Do you use yours in winter? If so, how long does it take to heat up in winter?
Where do you get the wood from?

We've just been to a couple of holiday cottages and both had a wood fired hot tub and just fell in love with them. In one of those the owner was using mostly scrap wood and cut up pallets, and still heated up the tub fairly quickly.

You must have to fill them every time as not maintaining a temperature? Probably alright when you factor it into a rental price

Can't you just keep the filtration system running?

We live in the south east, even in winter temperature barely goes to zero.
