PCN No left turn onto Marylebone High St

Hi Guys
I recieved a TFL pcn for taking a left turn from Marylbone Road to Marylebone High St.
I saw the no left turn and still took it as i saw a temp sign, I guess it was my ego telling me I'm right, but now regret the bother it's been.
The previous left turn was closed due to roadworks and there was a sign saying diversion with a left arrow. I'm right.
I challenged the PCN without evidence, I recieved "Rejected Representation - Discount Period Reset"
I challenged again with the 2 pictures below.
They and I don't have the front of the standing temporary signage.
However, did I break the rules here, should I have not followed the diversion sign because the traffic light had a no left turn sign?

As we major on private parking tickets here, PePiPoo will be your best bet for council tickets. Register there but please note that a Hotmail address won't work - try using a throwaway Gmail account instead if you do have trouble registering, and post a new thread; here's your link:Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own, to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need to post redacted photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the council (both sides, if appropriate), as they need to see all the small print. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
