Nuisance outages on streaming iplayer and similar...

Hi
I have vodafone FFTC with a downlink of about 80Mbit/sec. The current uptime is about 70 days.
My smart TV is directly connected to the router with a network cable.
My issue is that when streaming iplayer or similar, invariably there will be a stoppage that looks like a loss of connection or buffering. It can easily last 30 secs and eventually blanks out. If left long enough it recovers and continues.
Firewall is on in the router.
I'm trying to work out what could be causing it?

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Telly probably , but there are many smart tvs on the market, have you tried unplugging the TV from the mains and then restart it , my guess is that the TV is running low on storage if you have left it on standby. But the make and model may help others to suggest a better idea

When you have figured out what is causing it please let us all know. I get it at least once on most iPlayer programmes since the beginning of 2022 and it annoys me.
I have Vodafone FFTP.
When it occurs I can surf and download on my laptop no problem so I do not think it is a data issue. I suspect the iPlayer server.1
