Purple Bricks- buyer offers

Hi,

I have currently put an offer on a property. The seller has told me there have been higher offers, which have been confirmed by the EA.

I haven’t received any email/app notifications when there have been other offers. Can the vendor disable this function from their side?

Thanks

What difference will the notification be? They might have offered before you.

If you really want to property can ask the selle or EA what the seller would accept or find an alternative property.

We made an offer on a place last year on purple bricks, there were others but we didn't get notified...only when the seller decided to go for best and final offers did the estate agent call us to ask if/what we wanted to offer. We offered more but we didn't get it. The sale fell through a few months later but nobody ever got in touch to see if we were still interested.

Purple bricks are absolutely rubbish, I'd definitely be reluctant to buy or sell via them! We've been on both sides..as a buyer in our current house...we had zero dealings with the company we ended up communicating with the sellers directly. And as a seller...they are dreadful!
