Insurance covering war travel restrictions?

Hate having to think about this when planning a holiday for next year but the reality is, there is a possibility that the Ukranian war may spread and I'm wondering if there are any insurance companies out there which will give you a refund if governments etc (either here or in the US where we're hoping to go) warn against travel. I haven't been able to find anything so far.
Covid cover has greatly improved, although I am looking into the small print as my 10 year old is the only one in our family not to have had vaccinations and some of them won't cover him due to this. Perhaps it's a US issue as we've just come back from Spain and he didn't have to have vaccinations there.
My biggest concern is travel restrictions imposed due to war - it's a Disney holiday, a once in a lifetime trip which we've had to cancel twice already, and far too much money to say it doesn't matter if we lose it!
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

You are unlikely to find an insurer that will cover the risk of a government decreeing something.
There are however insurers like BattleFace that will cover you travelling against the FCO advice, the one downside of them is they blanket exclude any pre-existing conditions. So if the UK government said you shouldn't travel to the US then it would still cover you if you decided to travel. It wont cover you if you decide to cancel because of the advice or if the US decided to close its borders to flights from the UK

There are some which will cover you if you have to cancel your holiday because the FCDO advice changes after you book your holiday .
Aviva’s have some policies that have Travel disruption cover - this entitles you to claim if an overseas government closes its borders to travellers from the UK, or brings in restrictions such as a lockdown or quarantine requirements .0 -
You will also find that if the FCO advises against travel then your Tour Operator wouldn't go ahead with the trip and you'd get a full refund - so book an ATOL package with a decent tour operator0

If the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) says it's unsafe to travel, tour operators will cancel your trip. You should be offered an alternative holiday or given a full refund.
