Hello there folks.
Eharmony just tried to auto renew me and charge me a bomb. Thankfully my bank blocked it. This all even though I cancelled auto renew.
Do companies have to offer a 14 day cooling off period on such matters anyway?

No, cooling off periods for services (excluding certain regulated products like insurance) only apply to the initial purchase. After that you already know what the service is like and so dont need the protection of a cooling off period to cancel but may need a diary to remember to cancel instead.0

Ah ok thanks. My bank declined so hopefully they’ll let it go and not chase it as it’s a tech issue at their end really.0
